Dylan Kincaid totally screwed up Thanksgiving and now he’s faced with Christmas. Thrown into the frightening role of both mother and father while his brother and sister-in-law are off serving their country, all Dylan wants is to make Christmas perfect for his two nieces. But time is running out.
Down on her luck Charleston, S.C. restaurateur, Darcy Witherspoon is licking a wounded ego when she arrives in Black Moose, VT and meets the handsome Maple tree farmer. Wanting a happy holiday herself, she teams up with Dylan to make a perfect Christmas.
Neither is interested in a holiday affair, but the magic of Christmas has something more everlasting in store for the couple. An absolutely perfect love!
Darcy comes to Black Moose Vermont after her pride and joy restaurant burns to the ground. Her good friend Tom who went to Culinary school with her asked her to come to relax and regroup. When Dylan Kincaid first walked into Tom's restaurant to see Darcy there, he was taken away. Darcy had a feeling her life would never be the same. Dylan is caring for his brother and sister-in-law's two girls while their parents have been deployed. Dylan has already ruined Halloween and Thanksgiving, but he is determined to make Christmas a good one for the girls. Darcy and Dylan see where a relationship would not be a good idea for them. So they put on the breaks. But Christmas is magical. This was a fast, cute, lovely, holiday romance. You got involved in the characters and loved the area. The two girls kept me laughing. A great Holiday read. 5 stars ~ Amazon Customer
I bought this book at a local author signing in July. I'm glad I went to the signing and met Autumn Jordon. I waited until now to read, wanting to start my holiday shopping and now I'm in mood for Christmas.
I just loved Darcy. She is too funny. And Dylan is the hero every girl longs for as a partner. If you want a sweet romance centered around the holidays, then read this book. Like me, you'll be in the holiday spirit afterwards. I'm glad I found this series. 5 Stars ~ B&N Customer
